What Are You Feeding With Your Time?

Have you ever caught yourself saying,

“There’s just not enough time in the day.”

Most of us have.

We say it after a long workday, when the laundry is still waiting, when the phone keeps buzzing, when another responsibility lands on our plate, or when we realize we haven’t made time for the things that matter most.

But what if the issue isn’t that we don’t have enough time?

What if the real question is:

What am I feeding with the time I’ve been given?

Every day, we wake up with the same twenty-four hours.

Time is one of God’s greatest gifts because once it’s spent, we can’t get it back.

The question isn’t whether we have time.

The question is where our time is going.

Whatever we consistently give our attention to begins to grow.

If we continually feed worry, anxiety grows.

If we continually feed fear, fear becomes louder than faith.

If we continually feed distractions, purpose slowly becomes buried beneath busyness.

But the opposite is also true.

When we feed our relationship with God, our spirit becomes stronger.

When we feed truth instead of lies, our minds begin to renew.

When we feed healthy relationships, they deepen.

When we feed our purpose, we begin walking in the very assignment God created us to fulfill.

Inner healing isn’t only about what we’re releasing.

It’s also about what we’re choosing to nourish.

Healing grows where healthy things are consistently fed.

Today, take a moment to pause and honestly ask yourself:

  • What has been receiving most of my time lately?

  • Is it drawing me closer to who God created me to be?

  • What do I need to stop feeding?

  • What do I need to begin feeding more intentionally?

Your schedule often reveals what your heart is nourishing.

God isn’t asking for perfection.

He’s inviting you to be intentional.

Every small decision about how you spend your time is planting a seed.

The question is:

What kind of harvest are those seeds producing?

Reflection

Today, choose one thing that nourishes your spirit, one thing that renews your mind, and one thing that cares for your body.

Healing isn’t built in one dramatic moment.

It’s cultivated through the daily choices of what we feed.

Scripture

“Look carefully then how you walk, not as unwise but as wise, making the best use of the time, because the days are evil.”

— Ephesians 5:15–16 (ESV)

“Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it.”

— Proverbs 4:23 (NIV)

“So then, let us not grow weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.”

— Galatians 6:9 (NIV)

Healing Reflection:

The life you’re building tomorrow is being shaped by what you’re feeding today. Choose to invest your time in what brings life - spirit, soul, and body.
