Before You Begin
This toolkit isn't meant to limit your story to the space on these pages.
These worksheets are designed to help you think, reflect, and organize your ideas.
I encourage you to keep a journal or notebook nearby. When a question stirs a memory, don't stop because you've run out of room. Keep writing.
Some of the most powerful stories are discovered in the pages that come after the prompt.
Your journal is where your story begins.
For the best experience, choose the method that works best for you:
☐ Print this sheet and write directly on the pages.
☐ Grab your favorite journal and use these prompts to write freely.
There is no right way to write your story. The important thing is that you begin.

How I Wrote My First Book
Seeds of My Existence, my first self-published book, wasn't written in one sitting. It was birthed from years of journal entries, prayers, reflections, questions, tears, victories, and quiet moments with God.
When it was time to write my book, I wasn't starting from scratch. I was gathering the pieces of a story that had already been written one journal entry at a time.
That's why I encourage every aspiring author to journal. Don't wait until you think you're "writing a book." Start writing your life today. One day, those pages may become the foundation of the message you're called to share.
