Quiet the Noise

Moment of Stillness

Before you begin your prayer, give yourself permission to slow down.

The world is constantly asking for your attention, but God is inviting you into His presence.

Take a slow, deep breath.

Then another.

Release every distraction, every racing thought, and every expectation you brought with you today.

You don’t have to earn this moment.

You simply have to be present.

“Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for Him.”
— Psalm 37:7

A Question for Your Heart

What noise has been keeping me from hearing God’s voice?

Is it worry?

Busyness?

Fear?

Disappointment?

The opinions of others?

Sit quietly for a moment and invite the Holy Spirit to reveal what needs to be surrendered.

Take A Breath

Inhale: Speak, Lord.

Exhale: I am listening.

Repeat this slowly three times.

Rest In Prayer

Father,

The world is full of noise, but Your voice brings peace. Quiet the distractions within me and around me. Help me to recognize Your voice above every fear, every doubt, and every competing thought. Teach me to rest in Your presence and trust that You are speaking, even in the silence.

As I continue in prayer, open my heart to receive what You want to show me today.

In Jesus’ name,
Amen.

Remain here for a few moments. Listen more than you speak, and allow God’s peace to settle over your heart before you continue your conversation with Him.
