A Moment of Sacred Stillness
Before you pray, pause.
For the next 60 seconds, allow yourself to become fully present with God.
Take a slow, deep breath.
Then another.
And one more.
Release the weight you’ve been carrying. Set aside the distractions, the to-do lists, the worries, and the unanswered questions. They will still be there later. Right now, this moment belongs to you and God.
Reflect quietly:
What am I carrying today?
How is my heart really feeling?
What do I need to surrender to God?
Where have I already seen His faithfulness?
Now pray this simple prayer:
“Father, quiet every voice except Yours. Calm my mind, settle my heart, and help me become aware of Your presence. I surrender every burden into Your hands and choose to trust You. Speak to me as I spend this time with You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.”
“Be still, and know that I am God.”
— Psalm 46:10
When your heart is ready, continue into prayer.
