SECTION 1 —
WRITING PROMPTS
✍🏽 A Week of Gentle Writing Assignments
One prompt per day. One breath at a time.
You do not need to complete every day.
You do not need to write every day.
These are invitations, not obligations.
Day 1 — Safety First
Prompt:
What feels safest for me to write about right now?
You are allowed to choose ease.
You are allowed to begin small.
✎ Write one sentence, a phrase, or a few words.
Day 2 — The Unfinished Place
Prompt:
What part of my story feels unfinished—but not overwhelming?
You are not being asked to resolve it.
Only to notice it.
✎ One line is enough.
Day 3 — New Truth
Prompt:
What truth do I carry now that I didn’t then?
Let this be about who you are now, not what happened before.
✎ Write without explaining.
Day 4 — Naming Without Explaining
Prompt:
What am I allowed to name without explaining?
This can be a word.
A feeling.
A boundary.
A knowing.
✎ You owe no context here.
Day 5 — Beneath the Season
Prompt:
What message is quietly forming beneath this season?
Don’t rush clarity.
Listen for what’s emerging, not what’s loud.
✎ Write what feels gentle.
Day 6 — Reflection or Rest
Option A – Reflect:
What did I notice about myself this week while writing?
Option B – Rest:
Do nothing today. Rest is part of the work.
Both are valid.
Day 7 — Integration
Prompt:
What feels true for me right now?
Not forever.
Not next season.
Just today.
✎ One sentence is enough.
A Gentle Reminder
A few words are enough
Stopping is allowed
You can return to any day at any time
This space honors where you are—not where you think you should be
