When God Meets You in the Middle of the Page…

There’s something about the middle of the week that feels like the “in-between.”

Not quite where we started,

not yet where we’re going.

Just right here , in the middle.

But the middle is where God tends to speak the loudest.

As we’ve leaned into writing as worship, you may have noticed that your process feels a little different this week. Maybe your thoughts are heavier. Maybe the pages feel deeper. Or maybe you’re sensing a quiet pull to write, even if you’re not sure what to say yet.

That’s because when you invite God into your writing,

He doesn’t just meet you on the page , He meets you in the process.

Midweek is where your faith and your pen collide.

It’s where God starts uncovering things you didn’t realize you were still carrying.

And it’s where your writing shifts from “What do I want to say?” to

“Lord, what are You showing me?”

This is worship.

This is partnership.

This is intimacy with God expressed through your words.

If the middle of your week has felt emotional or reflective, don’t push it away.

That’s your invitation.

That’s your access point.

That’s the place where the story begins to breathe.

Here are a few gentle reminders for your midweek writing:

1. Don’t rush the revelation.

Some things need time to settle before they can be written.

2. Let the Holy Spirit guide your honesty.

If the truth feels tender, it’s because healing is near.

3. One sentence is still progress.

Worship doesn’t require a full chapter, just a willing heart.

4. Your journal can hold what your voice isn’t ready to say yet.

Nothing you write with God is wasted.

And as you continue through the week, remember this:

You’re not writing alone.

You’re being led.

You’re being strengthened.

You’re being shaped, word by word.

God is meeting you in the middle of the page.

And by the time you reach the end of this week,

you’ll see that something in you shifted, even if quietly.

Keep your pen close.

Keep your heart open.

And keep writing with Him.

With purpose & a ready pen,

Mia
