Your Soul Is Part of the Writing Process

Soul Care Wednesday

Before you write your story…

check your soul.

Not your outline.

Not your ideas.

Not even your words.

Your soul.

Because writing isn’t just creative, it’s emotional, spiritual, and revealing.

And if your soul is overwhelmed,

your writing will carry that weight.

Here’s the truth:

You can’t write clearly

if you’re still carrying what needs to be released.

You can’t write with authority

if your emotions are still leading.

And you can’t write from wholeness

if you haven’t made space for peace.

Today’s Soul Check

Pause and ask yourself:

  • What am I still holding onto?

  • What am I trying to push through instead of process?

  • What needs to be released before I write again?

One Breath. One Scripture. One Thought.

Breathe:

Inhale peace… exhale pressure.

Scripture:

“Be still, and know that I am God.” — Psalm 46:10

Thought:

I don’t have to force the process.

I can write from a place of peace.

Reminder

Your story is safe.

You don’t have to rush it.

Take care of your soul…

and your writing will follow.

Write from wholeness.

Become through renewal.

Publish with purpose.
